Garden of Ideas has won an award to attend the UKTI's GREAT Festival of Creativity led by HRH The Duke of Cambridge in Shanghai. We will join a team from the REACT Creative Economy Network to develop working partnerships with China in the field of creative economy.
During the three days in Shanghai, Garden of Ideas will network with Chinese partners in an event co-hosted by the Shanghai Center for Promotion of City of Design (SCPCD) and the British Consulate-General Science & Innovation Network (SIN), participate in networking events, develop collaborative discussions and attend the GREAT Festival -- which includes panels on Creative Economy Clusters and Copyright in the Digital Age.
The UKTI’s GREAT Festival is ‘a dynamic celebration of creativity in business, and the start of a new dialogue between global enterprises.’ www.events.ukti.gov.uk/great-festival-of-creativity-shanghai/
REACT is one of four Knowledge Exchange Hubs for the Creative Economy funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) to develop strategic partnerships with creative businesses and cultural organisations, to strengthen and diversify their collaborative research activities and increase the number of arts and humanities researchers actively engaged in research-based knowledge exchange.
