Simon Elliott created the CGI projection and slow motion film (Falling Deep Inside - A slow motion film exploring the emotion and impulse under the skin, before the movement) for Carlos Acosta with his team, for Carlos' show at the English National Opera. An artwork to bring Carlos closer to his audience, a series of duets exploring moments we repeat in relationships. Giant full screen digital projection onto gauze, creating the illusion of the 3D setting - coming out of the live performers imagination.

Working with some of London’s most talented digital artists (Anna Boberg, Shaun O’Connor, Somu Mohapatra and Barry Gene Murphy) to explore the new possibilities of projected digital image in the live-theatrical setting, including a HD film (Falling Deep Inside).
Simon directed the 25 magnificent singers of the amateur Pegasus Choir whose ethereal sounds could be heard throughout the show, bringing community and high end art to play with ‘complex content’ for broad, popular audiences.

Simon invited Carlos to choreograph the movements of a building for Breathing Human Into Buildings to create an artwork for London to celebrate the 2012 Olympic Games.
